4am Media Console 2.1: Overview
What you need to customize your Home Theater Personal Computer (HTPC). This software will allow you to simplify the front end of your system, and allow you to get away from the boring and sometimes cryptic computer desktop look that is normally provided with the operating system. 4am Media Console 2.1 is now available as a fully functional free trial version (built into the same package as the full version.)

4am Media Console now provides full support for both 4:3 and 16:9 ratio resolutions, allowing you to maximize the screen usage of your particular viewing device, whether it be a 4:3 computer screen, TV or webtablet PC or a 16:9 projector or plasma. (And no the 16:9 version is not a simple scaled version of the 4:3, it is reconfigured to setup without weird scaling effects.)

To create a user friendly environment not only for use, but also for setup, we have provided a setup utility that makes it easy to get the software up and running on your own computer in as little as 5 minutes. The setup utility also makes it quick and easy to play around with different skins/backgrounds and resolution settings, until you are satisfied with the setup.
